Mount Mammoth is an area in the Pine Mountains Region.
Quite a bit of Pine Mountains, as the name suggests, is mountainous. However, Mount Mammoth was named so because it exceeds the size and height of the others by far. Mount Mammoth is a tall, rocky, and mysterious mountain situated at the south-west of the game's map. From its peak, the player can see an overview of most of the Wantapa County.
Known Legends
- Locations:
- Murder Cabin: Located high on the mountain, resting on its east face.
- D.B Cooper Crash Site: Located just off the mountain, at its southwestern foot.
- Phenomena:
- Hypnotic Screeching: Can occur as the player ascends the mountain, more common in the winter.
- Beings:
- Mountaintop Angel: Will appear at both 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM for a brief moment, hovering above the highest peak of the mountain.
- People:
- Pigman: Will wander the mountain, usually near the Murder Cabin, near dusk or dawn.
- Objects:
- Ghost Cars: Can appear here, sometimes speeding down the mountain which can seriously injure the player if they don't think fast.
